Brandon Elliot

This is exactly the kind of thing I’m talking about in the post below. This monster killed his mother at 19 and went to jail for it. THEN HE GOT OUT, and was on lifelong parole. You can look up the video if you want but I’m not going to post it here to give this guy more notoriety. Probably easier on people to hear me describe it rather than watch it anyway. This animal stomp kicks a woman to the ground and then stomps her in the head three times while screaming she shouldn’t be here because he had some sort of angry hate towards Asians. Probably everybody else too. Bystanders stood by and watched and then one even closed the door of the shop that had the camera focused on the attempted homicide. Call it what it is.

First mistake: letting someone like this out of prison. This guy should’ve stayed there for the rest of his life.

Some of you may say everyone deserves a second chance. Maybe his mother and father abused him horribly and he should’ve had psychiatric care and then maybe parole with a heavy dose of psychiatric care and very closely watched. But we all know that’s not what happens with parole, right? All of that would be the second mistake. Our system of rehabilitation and parole, if you can call it that, needs serious thought and work. But no one wants to pay for that. Just let them out. Most of the time they are ok, right?

Third mistake I blame on the bystanders. They did nothing. Granted this thing happened quickly but they could have at least run out the door after the incident and helped the woman on the ground that probably now has brain damage. Nothing. Close the door. —Please people, some care in your fellow human beings being viciously beaten five yards in front of you would be appreciated.

Fourth mistake? Wrong place, wrong time, no training? I don’t think so. There’s almost no way she could’ve done anything at all about this. Total sucker drop kick in the chest by a big guy to start. And now he’s going to go to prison for maybe 20 years let’s say. I doubt that long. And she will have brain damage for the rest of her life. He will get out and do it again. Really? How did we get here?

Attempted homicide? Lock them up.

Main stream media is reporting a rash of various shootings. Everything from a man killing his parents and then shooting up a convenience store to a vengeance shooting at a McDonald’s drive-in. This stuff goes on all the time. But of course now there is some momentum to the anti-gun sentiment and so certain media outlets have taken it upon themselves again to drive a dialogue to facilitate gun control. Not that I blame them. The pendulum swings both directions.

I have a different theory because I don’t think that any amount of gun control legislation will help. Many of these people are getting their guns legally through retail stores that do background checks. Those who don’t won’t care anyway. Do you take all of the so-called assault weapons? The guy who killed his parents above did it with a semi automatic pistol. He could’ve done it with a car if he wanted. Do we take the cars?

Here’s my theory. If someone commits some sort of attempted murder or murder, call it what it is. It’s not an assault and/or battery. It’s attempted homicide. If you shoot up a car in a McDonald’s parking lot you then pay the price of attempted murder. And that price should be you go to jail forever. Until you’re dead. There is no second chance. You leave relatively polite society, and you become part of the society of butt heads in prison. There is no five years, 10 years, life with parole. Nothing. Then when Little Johnny asks where uncle John is, he understands the consequences.

Up the ante on the deterrence. Make sure the criminals know that jail is not just a short health and hospitality stay. They go and they stay forever. I happen to think you should make them work there also. But that’s a different discussion.

Boulder and Atlanta active shooter and threat stupidity

So a guy who’s had an AR for six days goes in and shoots up a grocery store killing 10 people including a cop. What I want to know is why wasn’t someone there trained well enough to drop this guy? No one there with a concealed weapon who is trained well enough to drop him or at least slow him down and take his mind off of shooting and put it on surviving? OODA. The reality is there’s going to be these disgusting events. There needs to be more trained people who can deal with the problem immediately, effectively. Are you one of them?

And the family that knew he had mental issues and watched him play with this rifle and didn’t say anything? If they had thought or cared they would have realized that someone with mental issues is not even supposed to have a gun by law. Or were they too scared of him and not trained enough and strong enough in their own minds to deal with the issue? Again no need for laws, just some common sense and mental fortitude.

And then there was the idiot yesterday that walked into a store in Atlanta carrying a rifle and multiple concealed weapons. What exactly was he doing? Was he just trying to prove a point, that he could do so because it’s legal in open carry Georgia? Or was he there to do so much more and just had to go to the bathroom first? Luckily the cops got there quickly, but where was the trained person with a gun ready to go as soon as he walked out of the bathroom? Maybe that person was there and the cops got there first – luckily. Certainly I don’t know the whole story, but I kind of doubt it.

So the argument once again is take the guns or at least have some common sense laws. The common sense laws are already there and may or may not need to be added to. How about the common sense people? That’s what we really need.

And all you people out there brandishing your your weapons, talking about taking back ‘Merica by force, or even shooting people, I’m not sure what you think you’re doing, but you’re going to ruin 2A freedom for everybody for sure. Pretty soon the government is going to take guns if we keep this stupidity up and then they can easily take the rest of our freedom if they want. So you think they’re doing so now? Wait…..

Do you think you’re going to do something about it? Like there will be some great war where We the People take over? The 3 Percenters? Let me tell you something III, if you don’t already know. If the military and police start to come down they already have the training and weapons to take over. Sure it will be bloody. But they have it. Go read Jane’s and find out what kind of weapons they have access to. We the People have no chance. We the People need to have more common sense and keep an eye on our politicians and participate in government. This is the solution.

Tolerance and training and involvement. We seem to have the opposite of all three.

Betrayal

Amazing all those who are running from Donnie right now. Those who supported him wholeheartedly through all the rest of the craziness. Just as amazing as those who are still supporting him at the cost of anything. Our democracy. Whatever.

Also amazing how Donnie has somewhat shut his flycatcher at this point. Unless of course you’ve studied him. You will see that in the past bankruptcies, banks had him on a allowance because they loaned him too much money and he couldn’t pay them. Not allowance like you and I might have, but quite substantial. He understands these limits and he’s working with (or staving off) the people putting those limits on him now, as he did with banks in the past, or his family. Whoever. This behavior is all quite familiar and sane to all of them. Co-management of expectations.

Is it to you?

One could say this is insanity. But it’s really not. It’s just animal.

Recognize. Interrupt. Explain. Change.

So, really now, who didn’t see this coming?

Granted, I am somewhat uniquely qualified to pick these people out. But so are a lot of other people who supported this guy. Many of them should’ve known exactly what he would do in the end, which is everything he possibly could to grab everything.

Four years ago in this blog I said he wanted what Putin has. Did ‘the smart money’ think there was anything that he would stop at given the chance?

I have a problem with Mr. Biden in that he and some of the people he sides with likely think that a predatory sociopath can be rehabilitated. Without serious reconciliation within that person done by him or her self, you can forget it. So I had a problem voting for him because of that and certainly more than a few other viewpoints. But HELL if I am going to vote for the predatory sociopath.

There are those who have supported Donnie throughout time. Many of them I don’t blame because they don’t understand who he is and what a predatory sociopath is like. The ones I don’t forgive are the ones who know who he is and don’t care, or worse, are like him.

This blog is all about the animal within us and how we can and why we need to reconcile the human morality versus the animal predatory instinct. The predatory sociopath doesn’t.

Defund police?

Are people crazy? Who do they think is going to protect them when the bogeyman comes? Do they think they’ll protect themselves?

Look, there are some very bad people out there who would just as soon kill you as look at you. There are people out there who will take whatever they want if there are no repercussions. Police are the ones who protect us from those. Maybe some of us can protect ourselves, but the vast majority cannot. Don’t kid yourselves. Think for a little while what anarchy is really like.

I propose instead that we put more money into law-enforcement. To pick and train them correctly. So that there is both a tolerance and a goodness, and the ability to do whatever is necessary to protect those who are not breaking the law. Let’s make sure they are true sheepdogs. No wolves allowed.

GNP and the essential nature of the lion

One of the most accepted measures of a nations growth in its standard of living is GNP. The ‘equation’ is one where growth in SOL equals growth in productivity equals growth in GNP. So it follows that to increase GNP you have to buy more stuff. Doesn’t matter how – more debt if you will. But if you buy more stuff, you add to the GNP and your SOL. This idea is propagated through the use of advertising and merchandising by companies who therefore make more money for their owners and employees who can – yes – buy more stuff.

The buying of more satisfaction doesn’t just take place in the hard goods categories, but also in expendables. Even down to the locals buying more burgers and larger fries from Burger Kingdom. Tastes good, feels filling, buy more tomorrow. The thoughts of frugality and non-wastefulness be damned! We buy more for our kids, too, and they learn from that.

After all, isn’t it important to have more? Having less is looked down upon. Do cats and dogs refuse food at some point or do most just start to get fat? Does a child refuse a new toy? What would the answer be if you offer a trade for an old toy or she could keep both? Does the great male lion see the lessor lion and feel bad for it? Does he say ‘See that lion, he is smaller and weaker than I and has no Pride. I have twenty six in my Pride. Let me send him a few so that he may have a better standard of living.’?

So where does this end, and if it ends bad, how do we manage it so it does not? The essential nature of the animal is to take more. Eat more, reproduce more, propagate the species. There are over 7 billion humans right now, most of them just wishing for more than they have now and many with good cause for thinking that way.

The optimists among you will say we will come up with ways to be more productive and get more out of the earth, fixing what we damage along the way with our limitless ingenuity. We will populate other planets! Certainly we have so many good things that have come from optimism, creativity and hard work. iPads and airplanes and air conditioning. Medical advances and Mercedes Benz and Botox and Roundup. Coke and Pepsi and nuclear bombs. Ok, maybe not the last one.

The human condition is such that we are the lion or the great ape, but with a brain that is maybe infinitely more powerful. The way we use it and what we use it for has become the most critical question of our age. Of humanity’s continuity and quite possibly the planet’s, also. For all of the above to change, we need a change in our nature. We need to start thinking of standard of living as being equal to a more holistically good existence. And we need to do this across the nations and populations. This is what we should be marketing. We need to become more ‘human’, less animal. This is what our advertising should be concerned with. And we need to do it now.

Leave being a lion to the lions. They really can’t hurt anything being that way.
